The Wilful Undertaking of Serious Chances & Taming Chance (2012)
The Wilful Undertaking of Serious Chances is a live projection/performance exploring seminal and concurrent moments in the history of political economy alongside the last push towards industrialization in Britain in the late 19th century. The piece transforms historical details and personal experiences into a fragmented narration combined with actions in which performers attempt to bring order out of chaos and deliberately courted risk in the manipulation of raw materials.
This project also exhists as a double-channel video entitled Taming Chance.
